Here at Venice Middle, we have tons of very fun clubs and activities. One of them is Builders Club. Builders Club is a service organization for elementary school, middle school, and high school kids. Venice Middle calls it Builders Club because the club builds character, leadership and loyalty in our students,” says Ms. Hagan, the sponsor of Builder’s Club

Some things they do are “Socktober”, collecting socks for kids in foster care. Around Christmas, they ring bells for the Salvation Army. In January, they collect toiletries that go to shelters through Bags of Hope. In February, they have the Crop Walk where they collect money for feed the hungry. If they have time this year, they might do a peanut butter and jelly drive!

They have about 35 members this year, which includes Sara Sleigher (President), Isabela Lessa (Vice president), Delilah Philips (Secretary), Vivian Konrardy (Treasurer), and Elizabeth Kalish (Sergeant). In conclusion, Builders Club is one of the many clubs at VMS that students can join!
